Saratoga Picks for July 30:
HORSING AROUND: After receiving a deluge of more than four inches of rain Tuesday night, Saratoga had little choice but to cancel Wednesday’s eight-race card. While both the CURLIN STAKES and the GLENS FALLS (originally scheduled for Thursday) will be redrawn and then run this coming Sunday, Mr. Ed wouldn’t be surprised if turf racing is OFF for at least the next week.
TODAY AT SARATOGA: Before digging into Thursday’s program, keep in mind that in an effort to provide the most transparent profit/loss data on VSiN, beginning today, Mr. Ed will track his financial returns and share them at the bottom of his column each day. As for Thursday’s nine-race card, first post is set for 1:10 p.m. ET/10:10 a.m. PT. The weather forecast calls for continued unsettled conditions throughout the area for the remainder of the week.
