MLB Win Totals:
As parts of the country that never get snow were digging out from a rare blast of Old Man Winter, and others were bundled up to combat the usual frigid temperatures, the team at Circa Sports was busy thinking of spring. MLB Win Totals for the 2025 regular season were posted on January 11, even though a few free agents still had to pick their new destinations and pitchers and catchers were still over a month away from reporting to Spring Training.
Posting times continue to get earlier and earlier for futures and season-long props across the industry, so bettors are forced to begin their preparations earlier as well in hopes of extracting some value out of the numbers before others attack the market.

The reigning World Series champion Dodgers (103.5) have the highest win total, followed by the AL champion Yankees (92.5), and the three-headed NL East monster of the Braves, Mets, and Phillies, who are all lined at 91.5. It has been a relatively quiet offseason for the Dodgers, outside of signing Blake Snell and Michael Conforto, so they’ve kept together the core of a 98-win team that won the required 11 games in the playoffs to become the champs.
The Yankees lost Juan Soto, who signed in free agency with the Mets as their big offseason splash. They also bolstered the rotation with Frankie Montas and Clay Holmes in hopes of having more depth to get through the season. As for the Yankees, they picked up Paul Goldschmidt and traded for Cody Bellinger in hopes of recouping the offense lost by Soto’s departure. They also spent big money on Max Fried to slot in behind Gerrit Cole in the rotation.
Most of the big fish have signed, but there are several impactful free agents out there still that would absolutely help their new teams on paper and likely on the field as well. Alex Bregman, Jack Flaherty, and Pete Alonso are the most notable names, but Jurickson Profar, Ha-Seong Kim, Anthony Santander, and Nick Pivetta are also guys that are seeking jobs and could move the needle a little bit.
I’ll start posting my 2025 MLB Season Previews and Win Total Picks during the month of February (2024 for reference), so keep an eye out for that right here at VSiN.com.
