Here are our favorite MLB prop bets for Friday, May 26th:

Cincinnati Reds at Chicago Cubs (-150, 7)

Justin Steele has only walked 16 batters in 61.1 innings, but he has had some issues with walks in home games. Steele has walked at least two batters in three of the five games he has pitched at Wrigley Field this season, and that’s tough to ignore with the Reds coming to town. Cincinnati has the seventh-highest walk rate in the league this season, and that makes it hard not to like Steele to issue at least two walks in this one.

This could be a somewhat tough play to watch, as there’s nothing exciting about rooting for balls. But it does feel like the right play to make in this game, especially with all the pressure on the two starters. This one has a very low total of 7 and that means both teams are counting on their pitchers in a big way.

Bet: Steele Over 1.5 Walks (+100)

New York Mets (-205, 11.5) at Colorado Rockies

It would have been -135 to back Jeff McNeil to have at least two total bases against the Rockies tonight, but we’re rolling with the plus-money odds for him to drive in a run instead. The reality is that Connor Seabold will be on the mound for Colorado in this game, and the righty is just 1-1 with a 5.97 ERA this season. He now has to face a very good Mets offense at Coors Field, which means New York will be getting some production from somewhere. And I like McNeil to have a huge day at the plate.

McNeil is actually coming off a three-hit day against the Cubs on Thursday, so he’s going to be feeling pretty good about himself heading into this one. McNeil is also batting .295 against right-handed pitching this season, and he has always been a player that can crush righties. So, with McNeil having a good matchup in this game, it just seems like this is a good spot to back him to drive in a run. He hits in a good spot in the lineup, so this isn’t an outrageous ask.

Bet: McNeil Over 0.5 RBIs (+110)

Pittsburgh Pirates at Seattle Mariners (-155, 7)

Mitch Keller has been one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball this season, as he’s 5-1 with a 2.44 ERA and has 77 strikeouts in 62.2 innings of work. Keller also comes into this game after having struck out at least eight batters in five consecutive starts. And he has had double-digit strikeouts in two of the five outings.

Keller now needs to just hit that eight-strikeout mark again for us to cash in at +130 odds. And Keller gets to go for it against a Mariners team that has the fifth-highest strikeout rate in the league against right-handed pitching. This is just a golden matchup for the 27-year-old, so we’re not thinking twice about it.

Bet: Keller Over 7.5 Strikeouts (+130)
