Philadelphia Phillies vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
Phillies starting pitcher Cristopher Sánchez has been electric with a 2.51 ERA, allowing two runs or fewer in six of his past seven starts. He’s allowing only 0.5 home runs and two walks per nine innings but faces a Dodgers lineup that leads the league in scoring at home with 5.6 runs per game. Los Angeles gives the start to Tyler Glasnow, who owns a 3.19 ERA as a starter this season but came out of the bullpen earlier in the series. Glasnow has a 3.76 fielding independent pitching mark with 4.3 walks per nine innings allowed and is backed by a bullpen that’s been reinforced since posting a 4.21 ERA during the regular season with the return of Roki Sasaki.
Pick: Dodgers Moneyline (-112) and Under 7.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicap: Dodgers -122, Total 7.3)

Chicago Cubs vs. Milwaukee Brewers
Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta owns a strong 2.71 ERA with 10.5 strikeouts per nine innings this season between the regular season and postseason, though his 3.65 fielding independent pitching and 3.4 walks per nine innings suggest some underlying regression. His ERA also rises to 3.71 on the road, but he’s backed by an offense that leads the National League in scoring since the All-Star Break with 5.3 runs per game. Cubs starter Matthew Boyd carries a 3.27 ERA between the regular season and playoffs but enters in poor form, allowing at least four runs in six of his past nine starts.
Pick: Brewers Moneyline -106 and Over 7 Runs (Greg’s Handicap: Brewers -106, Total 9.1)
