Toronto Blue Jays vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

The Blue Jays are giving Trey Yesavage his eighth career start. Yesavage has been a strikeout machine in his small sample size, posting a 3.82 ERA with 11.7 strikeouts per nine innings, but he has also allowed over 4.6 walks per nine innings. He faces a Dodgers lineup that is averaging nearly 5.5 runs per game between the regular season and the playoffs at home — the most of any team in baseball.

Yesavage is supported by a lineup that leads the league in scoring since the All-Star Break with 5.6 runs per game, while Dodgers starting pitcher Blake Snell has a combined 2.37 ERA between the regular season and postseason with 10.7 strikeouts per nine innings, allowing just 0.4 home runs per nine and three runs or fewer in 13 of his 15 starts this season.

Both teams are still recovering in their bullpen from Monday’s 18-inning thriller, with the Dodgers entering Game 4 with a 4.50 bullpen ERA this postseason, while the Blue Jays sit at 4.80.

Picks: Dodgers Run Line -1.5 (+112) and Over 7.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicap: Dodgers Run Line -1.5 +107 and Total 7.9)
