1:35 PM Eastern

Cincinnati Reds vs. Baltimore Orioles

Orioles starting pitcher Charlie Morton has been one of the worst pitchers in all of baseball thus far in 2025, posting an 8.84 ERA with two home runs and 5.4 walks per nine innings. The Reds will likely be using a pu pu platter of pitchers after projected starting pitcher Carson Spiers was used in long relief. They have a bullpen that entered Saturday sixth in the league in bullpen ERA at 3.06.

Picks: Reds +140 Moneyline And Total Under 9.5 (Greg’s Handicap Reds +118 And Total 9.1)

Chicago White Sox vs. Boston Red Sox

The White Sox offense entered Saturday averaging just over 2.1 runs per game away from home, which is last in the American League. They will face Red Sox starting pitcher Tanner Houck, whose first four starts of the season have been rough, but he is coming off an All-Star Game appearance in 2024 and a 3.12 ERA in 2024. White Sox starting pitcher Sean Burke owns a lifetime 4.29 ERA across his eight career pitching appearances with 8.1 strikeouts and 3.3 walks per nine innings.

Pick: Chicago White Sox vs. Boston Red Sox Under 9 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 8.1)

Seattle Mariners vs. Toronto Blue Jays

Mariners starting pitcher Luis Castillo has seen his velocity dip over the past 12 months. His strikeout numbers in 2025 are as low as they have ever been, posting a 4.22 ERA and 4.76 fielding independent with only 7.6 strikeouts and 4.3 walks per nine innings. Blue Jays starting pitcher Easton Lucas has a 4.70 ERA this season, but a 5.19 fielding independent. He has never experienced MLB-level success, with a lifetime 7.49 ERA. Lucas is backed by a bullpen that got completely used up, with the game going to 12 innings on Saturday.

Pick: Seattle Mariners vs. Toronto Blue Jays Over 8 (Greg’s Handicapped Total 8.6)

4:07 PM Eastern

San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Angels

Giants starting pitcher Justin Verlander will be in the Hall of Fame one day, but he’s not currently pitching like it with a 6.75 ERA with 1.4 home runs and 4.3 walks per nine innings this season. Angels starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi has a 3.11 ERA since being traded from the Toronto Blue Jays at the trade deadline in 2024. He is averaging 10.5 strikeouts per nine innings in this span.

Pick: Angels Moneyline -101 (Greg’s Handicap Angels -136)

7:10 PM Eastern

San Diego Padres vs. Houston Astros

The Astros’ offense has had a difficult time generating runs this season, entering Saturday 23rd with less than 3.8 runs per game. They face Padres starting pitcher Dylan Cease, whose 6.64 ERA in four starts this season is misleading. Cease has a 2.98 fielding independent with 10.6 strikeouts and 0.9 home runs per nine innings allowed per nine innings. Astros starting pitcher Framber Valdez has a 4.91 ERA of his own, but should also see some positive regression with a 3.39 fielding independent, getting 9.8 strikeouts per nine innings with 0.8 home runs per nine innings.

Pick: Padres Moneyline +113 (Greg’s Handicap Padres Moneyline -107)
