St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates

Cardinals starting pitcher Sonny Gray owns a 3.36 ERA with a 2.96 fielding independent, along with 9.6 strikeouts and one home run allowed per nine innings. Pirates starter Mitch Keller has a 3.90 ERA with just seven strikeouts per nine innings and is backed by an offense that ranks second-worst in the National League in run production at just 3.5 runs per game.

Picks: Cardinals -132 and Under 8 (Greg’s Handicap: Cardinals -142, Total 7.9)

New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays

Yankees starter Will Warren enters Wednesday with a 4.37 ERA and 3.9 walks per nine innings. That ERA jumps to 5.54 on the road. Blue Jays starter José Berríos has historically been far more effective at home, posting a lifetime 3.53 ERA with fewer than one home run allowed and nine strikeouts per nine innings, compared to a 4.52 ERA, nearly 1.5 home runs allowed, and eight strikeouts per nine innings on the road.

Pick: Blue Jays Moneyline +112 (Greg’s Handicap: Blue Jays -113)

7:10 PM Eastern

Milwaukee Brewers vs. New York Mets (Game Two of Doubleheader)

Brewers starter Jacob Misiorowski has dominated in his first three MLB starts, posting a 1.13 ERA with 19 strikeouts in 16 innings. Mets rookie Blade Tidwell has allowed 12 runs in 10 1/3 innings over three appearances and was initially expected to start Game Two. However, the Mets may opt for a bullpen game instead, with their bullpen ranking 12th in the league with a 3.70 ERA.

Picks: Brewers Moneyline -130 and Under 8.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicap: Brewers -137, Total 7.8)

8:05 PM Eastern

Cleveland Guardians vs. Chicago Cubs

Cubs starter Shota Imanaga looked sharp coming off the injured list, tossing five shutout innings against the Cardinals. Overall, he owns a 2.54 ERA in nine starts this season. The Cubs bullpen has also led the league with a 2.40 ERA since May 1. They face a Guardians lineup that ranks 25th in scoring with just 3.7 runs per game. Guardians starter Tanner Bibee owns a 3.90 ERA with 1.4 home runs allowed per nine innings, but that balloons to a 4.96 ERA and two home runs per nine on the road.

Picks: Cubs Run Line -1.5 +125 and Under 9 Runs (Greg’s Handicap: Cubs -1.5 +117, Total 8.2)

8:40 PM Eastern

Houston Astros vs. Colorado Rockies

Astros starter Hunter Brown has been dominant this season with a 1.77 ERA and just four total runs allowed over his past five starts. He faces a Rockies lineup averaging 4.1 runs per game, ranking 21st in the league. The Astros average four runs per game on the road and will see Austin Gomber, who has made only three starts this season and has allowed 10 total runs in his last two outings.

Pick: Under 11 Runs (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 10.3)
