7:10 PM Eastern

Colorado Rockies vs. Boston Red Sox

Rockies starting pitcher Austin Gomber enters having allowed 12 earned runs across 14 2/3 innings in his past three starts and is backed by a lineup that ranks 29th in road scoring with just three runs per game. Red Sox starting pitcher Richard Fitts owns a 4.50 ERA over seven starts this season, but he has gone four innings or fewer in every start since April, putting the emphasis on a Red Sox bullpen whose 3.58 ERA ranks seventh in the league.

Picks: Red Sox Run Line -1.5 -110 and Under 10 Runs (Greg’s Handicap: Red Sox -1.5 -132 and Total 9.2)

7:40 PM Eastern

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Chicago White Sox

The Blue Jays’ offense has been far less potent on the road than at home, scoring over 5.3 runs per game at home — the most in the American League — compared to 3.7 runs per game away from home. Blue Jays starting pitcher José Berríos owns a 3.64 ERA with 1.1 home runs allowed per nine innings and faces a White Sox lineup that must adjust from playing at elevation in Colorado and ranks 28th in scoring with under 3.5 runs per game.

Pick: Under 8.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 8.1)

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Kansas City Royals

This game features the two lowest-scoring teams in the league, with the Royals averaging 2.8 runs per game at home and the Pirates averaging 2.9 runs per game on the road. Royals starting pitcher Noah Cameron owns a 2.56 ERA, allowing two earned runs or fewer in eight of his 10 starts, while Pirates starter Andrew Heaney has a 4.16 ERA with 1.4 home runs allowed per nine innings. He’s backed by a bullpen that, since May 1, owns a 3.57 ERA, which ranks ninth in the league.

Pick: Under 8.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 7.8)

8:10 PM Eastern

Cleveland Guardians vs. Houston Astros

Astros starting pitcher Colton Gordon has a 4.37 ERA, but is allowing 1.4 walks per nine innings to go with 8.1 strikeouts per nine innings. He is backed by a bullpen whose 3.21 ERA is second in the league. Guardians starting pitcher Tanner Bibee has struggled on the road, posting a 5.40 ERA away from home with two home runs allowed per nine innings. Bibee is backed up by a lineup that ranks 26th in scoring with just over 3.5 runs per game.

Picks: Astros Run Line -1.5 +140 and Over 7 Runs (Greg’s Handicap Astros -1.5 +113 and Total 7.7)

9:40 PM Eastern

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Diego Padres

Padres starting pitcher Yu Darvish is making his first MLB start of the season after just one minor league rehab outing, in which he allowed two runs over four innings. Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen has had a rough season with a 5.45 ERA, allowing at least four runs in eight of his past 10 starts. He is, however, supported by a lineup that averages over 5.1 runs per game — fourth-best in the league.

Picks: Diamondbacks Moneyline +120 and Over 8 Runs (Greg’s Handicap: Diamondbacks +113 and Total 8.4)
