Milwaukee Brewers vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Brewers starting pitcher José Quintana owns a 2.65 ERA this season, but a 4.55 fielding independent, with 1.3 home runs and 2.9 walks allowed per nine innings. Phillies starter Ranger Suárez has allowed 10 runs across 16 2/3 innings in his three home starts this season. Both teams have struggled in the bullpen: the Brewers rank 22nd with a 4.51 ERA, and the Phillies are 24th at 4.58.

Pirates pitcher Andrew Heaney holds a 3.41 ERA with 6.5 strikeouts and 3.0 walks per nine for a 4.47 fielding independent. He’s backed by a Pirates lineup averaging just over three runs per game on the road—the second-lowest in the league.
