6:40 PM Eastern

Colorado Rockies vs. Miami Marlins

The Rockies entered Sunday with 38 of their first 58 games being losses by more than one run, with just 11 of their first 49 losses coming by a single run. They send Germán Márquez to the mound, who owns a 7.13 ERA with 5.4 strikeouts and 3.2 walks per nine innings. He’s backed by a Rockies lineup that’s averaging a league-worst 2.3 runs per game away from home. They’ll look to get to Marlins starter Max Meyer, who holds a 4.53 ERA but is generating 9.5 strikeouts per nine innings.

Pick: Marlins Run Line -1.5 +113 (Greg’s Handicap: Marlins -1.5 -149)

7:10 PM Eastern

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Cincinnati Reds

Brewers starter Aaron Civale has been shaky since returning from the injured list, completing just 12 innings in three starts with a 6.00 ERA and four home runs allowed. Reds starter Brady Singer enters with a 4.60 ERA, 7.5 strikeouts, and 3.5 walks per nine innings. He’s supported by a bullpen with a 4.15 ERA (19th in the league), while the Brewers bullpen ranks 23rd with a 4.63 ERA.

Picks: Reds Moneyline -115 and Over 9 Runs (Greg’s Handicap: Reds -143 and Total 9.3)

Los Angeles Angels vs. Boston Red Sox

Angels starter Tyler Anderson’s 3.39 ERA is likely due for regression, as his fielding-independent pitching (FIP) sits at 5.20, with 1.6 home runs and 3.5 walks allowed per nine innings. He’s backed by the worst bullpen in baseball, posting a 6.11 ERA. Red Sox starter Richard Fitts also appears due for regression from his 2.70 ERA, with a 3.94 FIP, 6.8 strikeouts, and 2.7 walks per nine innings. However, he’s supported by a Red Sox offense averaging 5.1 runs per game at home—second-best in the league.

Picks: Red Sox Moneyline -143 and Over 9.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicap: Red Sox -164 and Total 9.7)

10:05 PM Eastern

Minnesota Twins vs. Oakland Athletics

Twins starter Joe Ryan has struggled with hard contact on the road, holding a 3.64 career ERA at home with fewer than 1.3 home runs allowed per nine innings, compared to a 3.90 ERA on the road with more than 1.5 home runs allowed. Athletics starter Luis Severino has been a different pitcher depending on the venue: a 0.87 ERA with no home runs allowed in 31 road innings versus a 6.20 ERA and four home runs allowed in 40 2/3 home innings.

Pick: Over 9.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 9.7)

10:10 PM Eastern

New York Mets vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

Mets starter Paul Blackburn is making his first start of the season, coming off a 2024 campaign in which he allowed 1.4 home runs per nine innings. Dodgers starter Dustin May holds a 4.20 ERA with 3.2 walks per nine and is backed by a high-octane offense that leads the league in home scoring with 6.6 runs per game.

Pick: Over 9 Runs (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 9.7)
