Top MLB Resources:
12:05 PM Eastern
Minnesota Twins vs. Baltimore Orioles (Game One of Doubleheader)
Orioles starting pitcher Dean Kremer has had a rough season, posting a 5.24 ERA with 1.6 home runs allowed per nine innings. Twins starter Bailey Ober, meanwhile, has allowed approximately one earned run in each of his past four starts. He’s backed by the better bullpen, with the Twins ranking eighth in bullpen ERA at 3.27, while the Orioles rank 27th at 5.05.
Pick: Twins Moneyline -105 (Greg’s Handicap: Twins -115)
3:45 PM Eastern
Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Francisco Giants
Giants starter Jordan Hicks has struggled this season with a 5.82 ERA, though his fielding independent pitching (FIP) sits at 3.12 with just 0.4 home runs allowed per nine innings. His WHIP, however, is an elevated 1.408. Diamondbacks starter Eduardo Rodriguez has surrendered at least four runs in each of his past four starts, posting a 6.86 ERA with 1.8 home runs and 3.3 walks per nine innings.
Pick: Over 8 Runs
4:10 PM Eastern
New York Yankees vs. Seattle Mariners
Yankees starter Will Warren holds a 4.75 ERA, allowing four walks per nine innings this season. Mariners starter Luis Castillo is recording a career-low 6.9 strikeouts per nine, but still boasts a 3.95 ERA and 4.10 FIP. He also owns a lifetime 2.89 ERA in 44 appearances in Seattle. Offensively, the Yankees lead the league with six runs per game, while the Mariners’ 4.9 runs per game rank third in the AL.
Picks: Mariners Moneyline +100 and Over 8 Runs (Greg’s Handicaps: Mariners -144, Total 8.1)
6:40 PM Eastern
Boston Red Sox vs. Detroit Tigers
Tigers starter Reese Olson has been dominant, allowing just four runs across his past five starts. He’s racking up 11.3 strikeouts with only 0.9 walks per nine innings. He’s facing Red Sox rookie Hunter Dobbins, who is making just his fifth career start. Offensively, the Tigers rank second in the AL in scoring with over 5.4 runs per game, while the Red Sox are fourth at 4.8.
Pick: Over 7 Runs (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 7.6)
7:15 PM Eastern
Washington Nationals vs. Atlanta Braves
Braves starter Bryce Elder has had a tough start to 2025, posting a 4.97 ERA with 1.9 home runs allowed per nine innings. Nationals starter Mitchell Parker has allowed just one home run in 45 2/3 innings this season but is walking 4.4 batters and striking out only 5.2 per nine. He’s backed by a Nationals bullpen that entered Tuesday with a league-worst 7.08 ERA.
Pick: Over 8.5 Runs (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 9.2)
9:40 PM Eastern
Los Angeles Angels vs. San Diego Padres
Angels starter Kyle Hendricks has seen his ERA rise to 5.30 while allowing 1.5 home runs per nine innings. Pitching at Petco Park may help suppress both his numbers and an Angels offense that ranks 23rd with just 3.8 runs per game, despite being fifth in home runs per game. Padres starter Randy Vasquez sports a 3.76 ERA, but with more walks (5.9) than strikeouts (4.4) per nine, regression could be coming. He’s supported by a Padres bullpen that ranks seventh with a 3.25 ERA.
Pick: Under 9 Runs (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 8.3)
