Friday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Friday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.

Mickey Moniak Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-120) vs. Phillies

Phillies at Rockies – 4:10 pm ET

Last year, when facing right-handed pitching, Moniak averaged 2.1 combined hits, runs, and RBIs. Also, when facing right-handed pitching in home games, Moniak averaged 2.4 HRR. Moniak was awesome when playing at Coors Field last year, going for an average of .303 with eight triples, 18 doubles, 23 homers, and 62 RBIs. Well, with this game being played in Colorado, with the highest total on the board, I like him to be one of the players that does some damage. Of course, Philadelphia will have Aaron Nola on the mound, so this isn’t the easiest matchup in the world. However, pitching in Colorado can bring out the worst in anyone. And while Nola hasn’t pitched here since 2023, he did allow six hits and four earned runs in a loss in his last outing in this stadium. He should be hittable here.

Reid Detmers Over 15.5 Outs Recorded (+120) vs. Mariners

Mariners at Angels – 9:38 pm ET

The last couple of years haven’t gone as planned for Detmers, who has dealt with his share of injuries and been moved to the bullpen. However, he’s back in the rotation for Los Angeles this year, and this is a pitcher that still has some decent stuff. That said, as long as the Angels are willing to let him work deep in games, I like the plus-money odds on him to go at least 5.1 innings tonight. And if his first start was a sign of things to come, he does appear to have a decent-sized leash. Detmers threw 95 pitches in 4.2 innings against the Astros on March 28. Well, this matchup should be a bit better for him. The Mariners are near the bottom of Major League Baseball in batting average (.205), and this is a lineup that leaves a lot to be desired. Of course, Julio Rodriguez and Cal Raleigh are players that opposing pitchers fear, but the rest of the lineup is much easier to navigate.

Corbin Carroll Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115) vs. Braves

Braves at Diamondbacks – 9:45 pm ET

This is yet another game with a high total, as the number is up at 9.5 at some shops. Arizona isn’t quite as hitter-friendly as Colorado, but players do enjoy the conditions in the desert. Well, in tonight’s game, I can see Carroll making some things happen at the plate. Carroll is off to a solid start this season, batting .292 with a double, a triple, two homers, and eight RBIs. He’s hoping to perform a little more like he did in 2023 than he did in 2024 and 2025, and the early returns look promising. Carroll will also get a crack at a righty tonight, as Grant Holmes will be on the bump for the Braves. This hasn’t been a good matchup for Carroll so far, as he’s 0 for 5 against Holmes. However, I’ll bank on Carroll to turn things around soon, as he’s just a natural when it comes to hitting righties. Last year, even in a somewhat disappointing season, Carroll averaged 2.3 total bases per game when playing at home against right-handed starters.

Roman Anthony Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-124) vs. Padres
