MLB Top 20 Head-to-Head Team Betting Trends:
Before we get too deep into the 2025 season and we miss a lot of opportunities, I figured it would be prudent to share the top head-to-head series data available for bettors on the MLB schedule. All of these trends have produced an ROI of at least 46% and a minimum of 8 units of profit over the last three seasons for those that have backed them consistently. Of course, how teams fare against other specific teams is just one small piece of the puzzle. I like to think that the VSiN MLB Analytics Reports put together all of the pieces of that puzzle, so if you haven’t tried them, I highly encourage you to. These head-to-head nuggets are just one of the many valuable pieces you’ll find on a daily basis for MLB.
You will see that a few of these series have already played in 2025. Hopefully, you saw our analytics reports for earlier this week, where it was pointed out how well road teams and underdogs tend to fare in the Toronto-Boston series. The Blue Jays wound up taking three of four games in Boston from Monday through Thursday, for a profit of +3.15 units. Clearly, that series is on pace to continue its pattern in 2025. If the rest do as well, those of us who bookmark the trend qualifying dates below should be far better off in our baseball bankrolls because of it.
