There were more tears than usual during the NBA Draft, but there is no crying in sports betting, right?
VSiN.com senior editor Zach Cohen may have been a little sad about some of his bets, but he offers a dry-eyed view of what happened on Wednesday night:
The first couple of picks went as planned. Cooper Flagg went to the Dallas Mavericks, Dylan Harper went to the San Antonio Spurs, VJ Edgecombe went to the Philadelphia 76ers and Kon Knueppel went to the Charlotte Hornets. However, we definitely saw a little wonkiness after that. There were some puzzling moves made throughout, but we also saw some shrewd ones.

As if the VSiN studio isn’t enough, Circa Las Vegas has a new attraction: The Crazy Girls statue, rescued from storage by owner Derek Stevens. The 4,500-pound bronze homage to the long-running show on the strip rolled into Circa on Wednesday morning along with some of the Crazy Girls who bared their assets in the name of art. If you are in town this weekend, it’s new home will be by the entrance to the Legacy Club with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 on Friday. The idea is to rub it for good luck before you start gambling, which hopefully explains why certain parts of the bronze are more shiny than others.
