Suns ML (+114) vs. Magic
Suns at Magic – 7:00 pm ET
The Suns will be getting Dillon Brooks back this evening, meaning the better team in tonight’s game will also be sparked by the return of its emotional leader. Brooks has been the heart and soul of a good Phoenix squad, and he has been especially important on the defensive end. The Suns now have a chance to finish the season on a high note — before going out and putting a scare in someone in the Western Conference Playoffs. And I’d be surprised if this end-of-season push doesn’t feature a win over the Magic.
Over the last four games, Phoenix is 3-1 straight-up and 4-0 against the spread. The one loss was a very close loss to the Nuggets. This is a team that is playing some really good offense, with Devin Booker and Jalen Green thriving while playing off one another. Meanwhile, the Magic are 1-7 SU in their last eight games — and 3-5 ATS in those contests. Orlando is also 27th in the NBA in raw defensive rating (125.4) in this recent stretch.
It’s just hard to imagine the Magic getting consistent stops in this game — especially with Franz Wagner and Anthony Black out. That said, while this is a third game in four nights and second leg of a back-to-back for the Suns, Phoenix should be able to handle its business.
