Noteworthy OptaAI Player Prop Edges for Monday

Below you’ll find some of the projections that stood out when looking at our OptaAI NBA Player Prop projections. Subscribers have access to hundreds of others on a daily basis!

Julius Randle Over 1.5 Made 3s (-165) vs. Nets

Timberwolves at Nets – 7:00 pm ET

If you can stomach some juice, our OptaAI player prop projections love Randle to go Over his 1.5 total on made 3s tonight. Randle has knocked down at least three triples in back-to-back games. As long as Anthony Edwards is out, the Timberwolves will need more offense from Randle. That said, this recent hot streak could continue.

Jalen Duren Over 14.5 Points (-111) vs. Grizzlies

Pistons at Grizzlies – 8:00 pm ET

Our OptaAI player prop projections have Duren going for 19.60 points against a Grizzlies team that is weak at the center position right now. That’s a sizable edge to the Over on his total of 14.5. Duren just had 33 points in Detroit’s Mexico City win over Dallas, and he has scored at least 21 points in three of the last four contests.

Dennis Schroder Over 4.5 Assists (-152) vs. Nuggets

Kings at Nuggets – 9:00 pm ET

This season, Schroder is averaging 6.5 assists per game for the Kings. The 32-year-old is fighting for touches with several other ball-handlers, but he’s still doing a good job of dishing. Tonight, our projections have him going for 6.78 assists against Denver. However, it’s worth noting that he’s dealing with a hip injury, so there’s no guarantee he’ll play.

Monday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Monday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.

Mikal Bridges Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120) vs. Wizards

Wizards at Knicks – 7:30 pm ET

Bridges has been a stat-sheet stuffer to start the year, averaging 17.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. He looks to be one of the main beneficiaries of playing in Mike Brown’s offense, and I like his chances of putting up some big numbers against the Wizards. Washington is down at 27th in the NBA in adjusted defensive rating (117.8), while also playing at the second-fastest pace (105.3) in the league. This is a dream matchup for good offensive players. It’s also one in which a great off-ball mover like Bridges should thrive. Bridges also happened to average 18.8 points, 4.5 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game against the Wizards last year. So he liked this matchup even before seeing an increase in usage.

Jusuf Nurkic Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110) vs. Celtics

Jazz at Celtics – 7:30 pm ET

Walker Kessler is currently banged up for Utah, meaning Nurkic is getting some good minutes at the center position. The big man should be able to take advantage of those minutes tonight, as he’ll be going up against a Celtics team that is very weak at the center position. Nurkic is always a good threat to flirt with double-digit rebounds, which he has had twice in six games this season. Tonight, anything short of that would be a serious disappointment. However, I also see Nurkic doing some good work as a play-finisher, and he’s always good for a couple of assists. Nurkic is very underrated as a playmaking hub.

Jerami Grant Over 16.5 Points (-102) vs. Lakers

Lakers at Trail Blazers – 10:00 pm ET

Grant Overs have been very kind to me to start the season, so I almost feel obligated to take him again tonight. The big wing was a little fortunate to go Over his 15.5 total last game, but I still think 17 is a reasonable expectation for him. Grant is averaging 20.7 points per game in 28.2 minutes per game this season, and his 50.0/41.7/88.6 shooting splits are remarkable. He continues to look extremely efficient as an instant-offense spark off the bench, and I like the matchup against Los Angeles tonight. Grant had 22 against the Lakers on October 27, and this Los Angeles team is playing the second leg of a back-to-back. Let’s see if Grant can take advantage of some tired legs in a matchup he already aced last week.
