Noteworthy OptaAI Player Prop Edges for Tuesday
Below you’ll find some of the projections that stood out when looking at our OptaAI NBA Player Prop projections. Subscribers have access to hundreds of others on a daily basis!
Joel Embiid Under 32.5 Points (-106) + Rebounds + Assists vs. Celtics
Celtics at 76ers – 8:00 pm ET
Embiid had his best game of the season against the Raptors on Saturday, finishing with 29 points, six rebounds, and four assists. However, our OptaAI player prop projections don’t see him repeating that here. They have Embiid projected for 28.59 combined points, rebounds, and assists against the Celtics this evening. That’ll be an interesting one to monitor, as the Celtics really don’t have anybody that can cover him.
Jay Huff Over 6.5 Points (-114) vs. Jazz
Pacers at Jazz – 9:00 pm ET
Huff has gone Over his point total in two of the last three games, and he actually scored in double digits in both of those contests. Tonight, our OptaAI projections have him scoring 10.29 against the Jazz. This is one I might end up adding myself. Huff is the closest thing the Pacers have to a Myles Turner replacement, as he’s a good shot blocker and a willing shooter. Rick Carlisle appears to be seeing that now, as he has been upping the big man’s minutes. Huff just needs to be better about avoiding foul trouble.
Nikola Jokic Over 10.5 Assists (+100) vs. Kings
Nuggets at Kings – 11:00 pm ET
Jokic is averaging 11.9 assists per game this season, so he should be able to pick apart a Kings team that is 27th in raw defensive rating (119.9). OptaAI has him finishing with 11.8 assists, which is a clear edge to the Over. However, this has the potential to be a blowout, which could factor into the outcome. So if you are going Over here, I wouldn’t get carried away with the unit sizes.
Tuesday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Tuesday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.
Scottie Barnes Over 1.5 Made 3s (+111) & Barnes To Make 3+ (+360 – 0.25 units) vs. Nets
Raptors at Nets – 7:30 pm ET
It’s a little surprising Barnes is available at plus-money odds to knock down two 3s tonight. This season, the Nets are allowing opponents to shoot a league-worst 41.0% from deep. They give up a ton of good spot-up opportunities, which is somewhere Barnes should be able to make them pay.
This season, Barnes is 7-3 to the Over on his 3-point props — and he has also made at least three 3s on four occasions. Barnes is shooting a career-high 45.5% from 3 on 4.4 attempts per game. And honestly, playing against a bad Brooklyn team, he might be even more likely to let shots fly.
This is also a handicap that is backed up by the OptaAI projections. They have Barnes making 1.9 triples tonight. I’m going Over 1.5 and sprinkling him to hit 3+.
Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 16.5 Points (-130) vs. Knicks
Grizzlies at Knicks – 7:30 pm ET
Jackson Jr. is averaging 17.0 points per game this season, and he has also had at least 17 points in four of the last five games. Tonight, I’d be a little surprised if the big man doesn’t flirt with 20. As long as the Knicks don’t completely blow the Grizzlies out, this is a matchup Jackson should enjoy. There’s a good chance he’ll be going to work against Karl-Anthony Towns, who is a lousy defender. That said, Jackson should have some good spot-up opportunities from 3, but he should also be able to attack the basket — and get to that little floater he likes in the short midrange area.
Mitchell Robinson is also questionable for New York tonight. If he doesn’t play, there’s a chance Jackson cruises here. Robinson is a very good defender.
OptaAI also calls for an Over here, projecting Jackson for 18.64 points. I’m going with the Over on 16.5, but I might come back in with a play on 20+ if Robinson is ruled out.
Added Best Bets
Michael Porter Jr. Over 21.5 Points (-122) vs. Raptors
Jay Huff Over 4.5 Points (-128) vs. Jazz
Nique Clifford Over 5.5 Points (-125) vs. Nuggets

2025-26 Player Props: 31-31 (-2.45 units)
