Noteworthy OptaAI Player Prop Edges for Tuesday
Below you’ll find some of the projections that stood out when looking at our OptaAI NBA Player Prop projections. Subscribers have access to hundreds of others on a daily basis!
Jalen Suggs Over 2.5 Assists (-160) vs. Hawks
Magic at Hawks – 8:00 pm ET
Suggs is averaging 4.4 assists per game this season. He has also had at least five dimes in three consecutive games, even with his minutes down to start the year. Suggs’ minute restriction is the reason his assist total sits at just 2.5 tonight. However, OptaAI still likes him to clear that mark, projecting him to finish with 3.72 assists.
Quinten Post Over 5.5 Points (+102) vs. Warriors
Suns at Warriors – 10:00 pm ET
Our prop projections have Post finishing with 9.13 points this evening. The big man is averaging only 4.0 points per game this season, but he has had at least nine points in two of the last three contests. Post also scored nine points in his only meeting with the Suns last year. It’ll be interesting to see how this one turns out, as the center doesn’t always play consistent minutes.
Ivica Zubac Under 11.5 Rebounds (-115) vs. Thunder
Thunder at Clippers – 11:00 pm ET
Zubac is one of the best rebounders in the league. He also comes into this game after having had 18 boards against the Heat last night. However, our prop projections only have the big man going for 9.08 rebounds tonight. That is the biggest edge on a rebound total for anyone tonight, and it could have to do with Zubac going up against a tough Oklahoma City frontcourt.
Tuesday Player Prop Best Bets
Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Tuesday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.
Ryan Rollins Over 5.5 Assists (+112) vs. Raptors
Bucks at Raptors – 7:30 pm ET
Rollins only had two assists when he faced the Raptors on October 24, but the guard’s role is only expanding within this offense. Rollins has actually had at least eight assists in three of the last five games, and he had seven dimes against the Pacers last night. Rollins is now up to 11.1 potential assists and 7.7 adjusted assists per game this season. Also, if you break it down to only the last five games, he’s averaging 12.4 potential assists and 9.2 adjusted assists per game. Rollins is really thriving as an offensive creator playing alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo, and I don’t see him struggling too much with the Raptors matchup tonight. Toronto is just 25th in the NBA in raw defensive rating (117.1) this season, struggling to replicate last year’s success after the All-Star break. Also, with Milwaukee having played last night, there’s a slight chance Antetokounmpo misses this game and Rollins serves as the No. 1 option for the Bucks. That would only add value to this plus-money play.
Ryan Dunn Over 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-103) vs. Warriors
Suns at Warriors – 10:00 pm ET
With Dillon Brooks out, Dunn is going to continue to play big minutes for Phoenix. Dunn’s lack of 3-point shooting can occasionally make it hard on coaches to keep him out there, but Jordan Ott really has no choice but to keep him out there — assuming he doesn’t get into foul trouble. However, Dunn is also finding new ways to impact games offensively, performing a bit better as a roller — both as a play finisher and a playmaker. In fact, over the last two games, Dunn is averaging 15.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. He has also gone Over tonight’s total of 16.5 PRA in three straight games and four of the last five.
Tonight, it’ll be definitely be difficult for Dunn to make his mark. Golden State is elite defensively. However, Dunn should still be able to make some things happen with his athleticism. And if he happens to knock down a triple or two, it’s highly unlikely he’ll fall short of this mark.
Chet Holmgren Over 1.5 Made 3s (-110) vs. Clippers
Thunder at Clippers – 11:00 pm ET
Holmgren has made at least two 3s in three of the four games he has played this season, and he’s now making 2.5 triples per game on 6.0 attempts per game. Holmgren can really space the floor for this Oklahoma City team, making it a little surprising that he’s only -110 to knock down two 3s tonight. Our OptaAI projections have Holmgren making 1.90 threes in this game, which is a decent edge to the Over. But it really didn’t take projections for me to pull the trigger on this. Holmgren is shooting 37.4% from 3 on decent volume. As long as he takes five or six shots from deep, I’ll be happy I made this play.
