Monday Player Prop Best Bets

Below you’ll find my official plays on the player prop market for Monday. These are the ones that make the VSiN Pro Picks page and count towards my season-long record.

Daniel Gafford Over 16.5 Points + Rebounds (-120) & Double-Double (+450 – 0.25 units) vs. Kings

Kings at Mavericks – 8:00 pm ET

Gafford has had at least 17 combined points and rebounds in four consecutive games, and he’s coming off an 18-point, seven-rebound performance against the Rockets. The big man is playing some good basketball for a Mavericks team that is suddenly scorching hot, and I like him to do some work against the Kings tonight. This season, Sacramento is the worst team in basketball when it comes to defending inside 10 feet, where Gafford shoots 88% of his shots. The Kings are also the second-worst team in the NBA in both raw defensive rating (122.6) and rebound rate (46.4%). PropsMadness has this as the third-best matchup a center can ask for.

De’Aaron Fox Over 14.5 Points (-118) vs. Jazz

Spurs at Jazz – 8:40 pm ET

Our OptaAI projections have Fox finishing with 18.38 points this evening. That’s an edge of 23.5% to the Over and a three-star confidence pick, and it happens to jibe with my thoughts on how this game will go. Fox is coming off a 22-point game against the Timberwolves, and he has had at least 15 points in three of his last five games. Of course, one of the games in which he failed to reach that mark was against the Jazz on October 28, but I’m not too worried about that. Utah is one of the worst defensive teams in the league, and Fox’s ability to score at all three levels should allow him to shine tonight. Honestly, the only thing I’m worried about here is the spread. San Antonio is favored by 15.5, so we’ll need Fox to work quickly — or Utah to hang around.

Christian Braun Over 1.5 Made Threes (+114) vs. Trail Blazers

Blazers at Nuggets – 9:00 pm ET

Braun is on a heater for the Nuggets right now. On October 28, he knocked down three triples against the Pelicans, and he followed that up with seven against the Suns on October 30. Braun has attempted 17 threes over the last two games, so he’s confidently letting his shots fly. On top of that, Braun is averaging 3.0 wide-open (6+feet to closest defender) three-point attempts per game, according to the NBA’s tracking data. He’s just a bit of an afterthought when teams try to guard Denver, and he’s making opponents pay for sleeping on him. I don’t think anything will change against the Blazers tonight. He should get some high-quality looks, and we just need him to bury a few.

Jaden McDaniels Over 17.5 Points (-110) & Alt Points 22+ (+200 – 0.5 units) vs. Bucks
