The 2024-25 NBA season is underway. Make sure you check out the fantastic work of Jonathan Von Tobel, who will be writing NBA deep-dive features for us twice per week this year. And try to listen to A Numbers Game every morning, as Kelley Bydlon often dishes out his favorite NBA picks. But I’ll be giving out NBA best bets and player props here as often as possible, and I’ll also occasionally write up features on big news that shakes up the league. So, make sure you check out my work throughout the season. With that out of the way, let’s get into some NBA best bets and NBA player props for Saturday, November 30th. Also, make sure you check out the picks page (linked right below) before games tip off. I occasionally add picks throughout the day.

NBA Best Bets Today – November 30th

Philadelphia 76ers at Detroit Pistons – 7:10 pm ET

People are probably sick of seeing me backing Philadelphia, but this team is going to turn things around very soon. And it feels like tonight is a great opportunity. For starters, the Sixers played very well in a loss to the Rockets the other night. They took the second-best team in the Western Conference to overtime, and an outright win was in play there. Tyrese Maxey is finally looking healthy and comfortable, and his 39-point performance against Houston shows that he has his explosiveness back. He’ll see much more favorable matchups against Detroit tonight too. And Maxey won’t need to do it alone tonight. Jared McCain should be able to find more success against the Pistons than he did against the Rockets, and it also seems like Paul George and Caleb Martin could be out there. Both players were upgraded to questionable yesterday. The team can use both to aid with its wing defense.

With the Sixers getting healthier, this just feels like a game in which they’ll have a real shot at winning. The Pistons are on the second night of a back-to-back, so they could be a little tired after beating the Pacers. I’m also not sure Detroit is better than Philadelphia on either end of the floor, even with Joel Embiid out. So, I’m willing to take a shot on this.

Bet: Sixers ML (+115)

NBA Player Props Today – November 30th

Washington Wizards at Milwaukee Bucks – 8:00 pm ET

Jordan Poole was bottled up in his last game, scoring just eight points on 1 for 7 shooting from the floor and 1 for 5 shooting from 3. He also turned the ball over six times in just 25 minutes. However, that was a meeting with a Clippers team that is relentless when it comes to defending the perimeter. Poole won’t be met with the same sort of resistance against a Bucks team that is weak at the point of attack. Milwaukee really struggles to contain lead ball handlers, and Poole spends a lot of time with the ball in his hands. That said, I’m firing up Poole to make at least three 3s at a very reasonable price. This season, Poole has nine games with at least three made 3s, and he’s now facing a Milwaukee team that is allowing more 3s per game (14.5) than all but three teams in the NBA. Opponents are also shooting 37.2% from deep against the Bucks.

Bet: Poole Over 2.5 Made 3s (-102)

TEASER: Hawks -0.5 vs. Hornets & Jazz +10.5 vs. Mavericks (+120)
