Wait a New York minute
The Stanley Cup Final is set.
The Oilers (+110) dispatched the Stars 6-3 on Thursday night to advance to the Final against the defending champion Panthers.
At DraftKings Sportsbook, the Panthers and Oilers are both -110 to win in a rematch of last year’s Cup Final.
The NBA Finals matchup will have to wait.
The Knicks defeated the Pacers 111-94 (and covered the closing -4.5) to keep the Eastern Conference Finals alive. Indiana, still up 3-2, is a 4-point favorite in Indianapolis for Saturday’s Game 6.
MLB today
I will be at the Cubs-Reds game today along the Circa Sports crew, including Derek Stevens and Mike Palm. If you are in the neighborhood, Circa is throwing a pre-game tailgate at Wrigleyville Dogs on Clark.
(I felt like I was in Las Vegas on Thursday night because there were so many people from Circa at the hotel bar in Chicago. When last call came at 12:15, we knew we weren’t in Las Vegas.)
Greg Peterson already has filed his top plays for today, though no guidance on the Cubs-Reds.
Josh Appelbaum and Steve Makinen will post their Best Bet contributions later this morning.
