The 2023 VSiN fall weekend lineup kicks off Saturday just in time for a full slate of college football games.
But you will get a peek behind the curtain this evening as Matt Youmans hosts a special version of VSiN Tonight, featuring the Circa Friday Football Invitational. The football pick ‘em contest starts next Friday, but Youmans will handicap the 16-handicapper field vying for $25,000 put up by Circa owner Derek Stevens and will talk with some of the contestants.
You will have to wait a week for the newest weekend show: The Sports Gambling Podcast Live with Ryan Kramer and Sean Green Friday nights at midnight. The tagline for their long-running podcast is “your home for uncensored sports betting opinions, analysis, and advice.” Alas, they will need to abide by FCC rules, but plan on an entertaining show that captures the excitement of Las Vegas on a Friday night.
And we’re counting down to the return of Brent Musburger, The Godfather of VSiN, as host of Countdown to Kickoff (Sundays noon-1 p.m. starting Sept. 10), reprising his legendary CBS NFL preview show.
The Sweat, which made its debut last week, will start our live programming on weekends from 8-10 a.m. DraftKings personalities Emerson Lotzia, Steve Buchanan and Julian Edlow prepare you for the day’s sports menu. VSiN’s Josh Appelbaum joins the crew starting next weekend.
The Lombardi Line will remain in its 10 a.m.-noon weekend time slot with Michael Lombardi and Femi Abebefe on Saturdays and Stormy Buonantony on Sundays.
Live Bet Saturday will ride out the action from noon-7 p.m. Jonathan Von Tobel will hold down the first four hours. Ben Wilson and Mike Palm will broadcast the last three hours from the boisterous Bar Canada at The D in downtown Las Vegas.
The Handle will move from mornings to evenings (7-10 p.m.) with Matt Brown and the newest host on Team VSiN, Mike Somich. Somich has been filling in over the summer so he should be a familiar face by now. The 9-10 p.m. hour on Saturday will be “The Football Contest Show.” The Circa Million and Survivor consensus picks will be announced at that time.
VSiN will wrap up its Saturday live programming with Sunday Bet Prep, hosted by Adam Kaufman and Dave Ross.
On Sundays — after The Sweat, Lombardi Line and Countdown to Kickoff — Von Tobel will host College Lines Revealed (1-3 p.m.), analyzing the new lines and looking for line movement.
Live Bet Sunday, hosted by Abebefe and Kelley Bydlon, will jump on the NFL games in progress and preview the late window from 3-7 p.m.
After The Handle (7-10 p.m.), Ross and Wes Reynolds will break down early lines for next week’s games on The Lookahead (10 p.m.-1 a.m.). (Wilson is filling in this Sunday.)
