Patriots 2023 schedule features lots of great quarterbacks

It was an up-and-down season for the Patriots in 2022, as they only won consecutive games twice, but also only lost consecutive games three times. Brian Hoyer was forced to start a game and Mac Jones’s grasp on the starting quarterback role was in a state of flux most of the year, including a couple of Bailey Zappe cameos. The QB question is no clearer heading into 2023, but the Patriots will face a bevy of tremendous quarterbacks, including Josh Allen, Tua Tagovailoa, and Aaron Rodgers in-division, plus Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott, Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts. Even the lesser guys like Daniel Jones, Kenny Pickett, and Jimmy Garoppolo are all respected pros.

New England Patriots schedule this year

As mentioned above, this is a brutal schedule for the Patriots and one that will test the defensive genius of Bill Belichick. Along with the tough draws against the NFC East, AFC West, and their own division, the Patriots face a third-place schedule of the Steelers, Colts, and Saints, who all could be vastly improved this season. The Steelers were one of two third-place teams to finish with a winning record and the other one (Giants) is also on the schedule. The Patriots will also play in Germany in Week 10 against the Colts.

The Patriots play four road games in six weeks after the bye and only play three games in Foxboro out of the last nine weeks of the season. They are also only favored in four games based on the early DraftKings odds.
