Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars – 1:00 pm ET

The Colts are coming off a bad 20-16 home loss to the Texans. At the moment, Daniel Jones is playing with a fracture in his leg, which limited him to one rush for one yard last week. Jones has made some serious improvements as a passer this year, but running is part of what sets him apart from a lot of the other quarterbacks in this league. And without the threat of the run, I’m just not sure Indianapolis should be expected to win this game.

Jacksonville currently has a top-10 defense when looking at EPA per play allowed (-0.405). And while the team doesn’t have great pass-rushing metrics, Josh Hines-Allen should put a ton of pressure on Jones. The Jags also have a good run-stuffing defensive line to keep Jonathan Taylor in check.

We just have to hope that the Jaguars offense can move the ball here. But the Jags have won three straight games. This team is playing well at the moment, and I’m not the biggest believer in the Colts defense. Indianapolis is especially vulnerable in the secondary, and star corner Sauce Gardner won’t be out there to help here.

I also like Bhayshul Tuten to finish with at least 25 rushing yards here. Jacksonville’s offensive line has been doing a great job of clearing out space, giving Travis Etienne and Tuten their chances to hit holes. And while it’s mostly Etienne doing the damage, Tuten has gotten at least seven carries in three consecutive games. If he gets those touches again, I think he’ll make the most of them. He’s now a few weeks removed from the ankle injury he suffered in a 74-yard performance against the Chargers on November 16. That burst should start coming back soon.

Bet: Jaguars ML (+110 – 1.5 units) & Tuten Over 24.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens – 1:00 pm ET

The Steelers have been playing a little better defensively lately, but it’s hard not to like Zay Flowers to do some damage in this one. The 24-year-old is coming off a six-yard performance against the Bengals, so I think we’re going to see a concerted effort from Lamar Jackson to get Flowers the ball. Flowers had also had at least 58 receiving yards in five straight games — and seven of the previous eight — before that miserable outing against Cincinnati. That said, he regularly goes Over the total set for this game.

Our WR-CB Matchup Tool also happens to love Flowers’ chances of creating separation against Asante Samuel. That’s one of the biggest matchup advantages of the week, and Flowers should be able to do the same against any Steelers corner that lines up opposite him. We’ll just have to hope that Jackson is spinning it well enough to put the ball on him.

Our OptaAI player prop projections also happen to back up this handicap, projecting 67.26 receiving yards here. I’m going big on Over 55.5, but I’m also sprinkling an alternate on 70+.

Bet: Flowers Over 55.5 Receiving Yards (-114 – 1.5 units) & Alt Receiving Yards 70+ (+164 – 0.5 units)
