The Thursday night Week 3 opener has the 49ers hosting the Giants as 4.5-point favorites. Sunday’s early games (1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT kickoffs) are highlighted by the Jets hosting the Patriots as 3.5-point faves and the Dolphins hosting the Broncos as 3.5-point faves as those are the most appealing matchups with the Chargers (-1.5) at the Vikings as the other possible exception. The afternoon slate (4:05 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. ET starts) isn’t much better with the Seahawks -4 vs. the Panthers, Chiefs -9.5 vs. the Bears and Cowboys -6.5 at the Cardinals. The Sunday nighter has the Raiders as 1.5-point home favorites vs. the Steelers and we get another Monday Night Football doubleheader with the Eagles -6 at the Buccaneers and the Bengals -7 vs. the Rams.
