Buffalo Bills (-4; 46.5) at Indianapolis Colts

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET

A large amount of the preseason talk in the AFC East surrounded the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins. However, the Buffalo Bills reminded everyone that they are still king daddy of the division. They are 7-2 and Josh Allen is right there in the MVP race. However, the Bills have defeated one team with a winning record and that was Arizona, who just got over .500 last week.

The Bills enter at the top of the market, and the Colts come in at their bottom. The nation saw an anemic Colts offense score six points, commit two turnovers, and only generate 227 yards of total offense on Sunday Night Football last week.

This week presents a better matchup for Indianapolis as the Bills rate 30th in blitz rate and 22nd in pressure rate. While C Ryan Kelly is out, LT Bernhard Raimann is back, and the Colts missed him big time last week as the blitz-happy Vikings made life miserable for Joe Flacco.

The Colts’ defense has gotten healthier in the last couple of weeks, and while they rank 28th in Pass DVOA, Allen is running short on receivers with Keon Coleman and Amari Cooper out. Allen also shreds man coverage, which the Colts play very little of defensively.

This could also be a bit of a sleepy spot for Buffalo, as they have the big rematch with Kansas City next week.

NFL Week 10 Best Bet: Indianapolis Colts +4

Atlanta Falcons (-3.5; 46.5) at New Orleans Saints

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET

The Dennis Allen era ended last week in New Orleans midway through his third season with an 18-25 overall record as the Saints lost as a touchdown road favorite last Sunday in Carolina. The final was misleading, as the Saints outgained the Panthers by 150+ yards (181 to be exact) and won the turnover battle. According to ESPN’s Bill Barnwell, teams that had met that criteria in the last 20 years were 275-0 prior to this past weekend.

Special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi takes over as interim coach for New Orleans, who has lost seven straight games. However, the Saints have been relatively unlucky to have a 2-7 record. If you take out the Spencer Rattler starts in Weeks 6-8 and the loss at undefeated Kansas City, New Orleans has losses by 3 (vs. Philadelphia), 2 (at Atlanta), and 1 (last week at Carolina).

Meanwhile, Atlanta has won five of its last six and are 5-2 in one-score games, including the Week 4 victory vs. New Orleans, where the Saints had a 25-14 first down edge and a 366-315 yardage advantage. A Younghoe Koo 58-yard field goal gave the Falcons the win.

Derek Carr returned last week at Carolina and worked off a little rust (18/31, 236 yards, TD). He should have time to operate and find targets down the field (even without Chris Olave) against an Atlanta defense that ranks 31st in pressure rate.

While the Saints know that they are likely going nowhere in terms of postseason, this should be a good effort here just to get any kind of win against an Atlanta club that has been lucky in a few games and is starting to get a bit overpriced.
