Wes Reynolds: NFL Week 6 Best Bets
Here are my NFL Week 6 best bets:
Detroit at Kansas City (-130 ML)
The Chiefs fell to defeat at Jacksonville on Monday night, but the Kansas City offense looks back to its typical standard with 858 yards in the last two games, including 476 against the Jaguars.
Detroit is running out of secondary with two corners already on IR, plus Terrion Arnold being out and questionable statuses for Brian Branch, Avonte Maddox, and Kerby Joseph.
The Lions have obviously been a spread juggernaut, but potentially a bit overvalued, and this is a vintage Patrick Mahomes spot when he is -3 or shorter as a favorite, or an underdog, he is 29-12-1 ATS in his career.
Buffalo at Atlanta (+4.5)
The Buffalo Bills were the last to fall from the ranks of the NFL unbeatens last Sunday night in a loss to New England. The Bills are a good team, and Josh Allen is once again a viable MVP candidate. However, parity is seemingly reigning supreme as no one in this league is currently great and that includes 4-1 Buffalo. The Bills have victories over a now-struggling and heavily injured 1-4 Baltimore, a winless Jets club, the 1-4 Dolphins, and 1-4 Saints.
Atlanta is just 2-2, but the ‘Dirty Birds’ are also off a bye and have outgained their opponents by an average of 119 yards per game.
The Falcons have stayed committed to the run with the second most rushing attempts per game, while Buffalo has been susceptible to the run, giving up 5.6 yards per carry (tied for second last in the league.
BEST OF THE REST
New Orleans Saints (+3.5) vs. New England Patriots
Arizona Cardinals (+7) at Indianapolis Colts
Seattle Seahawks (+1) at Jacksonville Jaguars
