The Sabres will look to avoid their first three-game losing streak since the first week of December when they host the Detroit Red Wings tonight.  Buffalo is coming off back-to-back overtime losses at Anaheim and Wednesday at home to Boston. The Sabres are looking for a three-game season series sweep versus Detroit when the puck drops tonight. 

Buffalo has been a quick strike team, scoring the first goal of the first period in seven of the last nine games. Tonight is the third and final meeting between the two teams. The Sabres won the previous two contests back in October and November. 

Zach Benson has goals in three straight and seven points in seven career games (three goals, four assists) against the Wings. Josh Norris has eight goals in 11 career games versus Detroit. Jason Zucker has eight goals in 17 games against Detroit starting goalie, John Gibson.
