EPL Best Bets and Predictions October 24-25

Here are this week’s EPL best bets:

Arsenal vs. Everton

Saturday, 10:00 a.m. ET

Seven rounds into the 2026/27 Premier League season and Manchester City still hold top spot after maintaining their 100% record on the field, while we still wait to see how their challenge will be impacted off it. Interesting to note they have now gone to minus money to be relegated but are a top price +400 to lift the title.

City’s nearest rivals remain Arsenal, whose defensive structure continues to set the standard, and they once again form part of my best bets of the week as a result. The Gunners recorded a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest last weekend with their only shot on target, and that was thanks in part to a crucial deflection.

That win, as predicted in last week’s column, was an incredible seventh with a clean sheet already this season. Although Mikel Arteta’s side conceded two goals in midweek, that was at Bayern Munich, who had scored at least five times in each of their opening four home fixtures of the campaign. Further indication that Arsenal’s defense is on another level to most sides on the planet.

Everton visit the Emirates having suffered their first defeat of the campaign last weekend, a 2-0 home loss to Chelsea. The fact that was the Londoners first clean sheet since January 17th says a lot about the strength of the Toffees in front of goal. Thierno Barry is a willing worker, but no striker has missed more big chances than his 11 this season, and they will be at a premium against the watertight home defense.

Arsenal has won 24 of the last 30 head-to-head meetings and a repeat of last season’s 2-0 win in this fixture on the way to the title looks about right. Once again, the win-to-nil gives a huge boost to the price all the way from -240 to +120. Value that must be taken.

EPL Best Bet: Arsenal vs Everton — Arsenal win to nil at +120.

Chelsea vs. Tottenham

Saturday, 12:30 p.m. ET

It may be a little surprising to see Chelsea priced at -150 to win this, but that is still the lowest price they have been to beat Tottenham at home in the league since 2014. Not only are the home side sitting pretty in fourth while their London rivals are down in 16th after finally recording their first win of the season on Monday, but the Blues also dominate this fixture.

Xabi Alonso will be looking to extend a run of six successive Premier League wins for his new club over Spurs. The visitors have taken all three points just once from their last 36 visits to Stamford Bridge, suffering defeat in 24 of those.

Much of Chelsea’s strong beginning to the season has come from their electric starts. In their three home league games, they have scored five goals in the first 15 minutes, opening the scoring no later than the seventh minute. That will strike fear into all Spurs fans, having not seen their side go on to win the last 49 times they have conceded first in a Premier League game.

With a Chelsea win and plenty of goals likely, I prefer to take a different line of attack. Despite serious competition, João Pedro has been Chelsea’s standout forward early in the campaign, leading the Blues with five Premier League goals (plus three assists) in his six starts.

The eye-catching stat is that four of those goals have come on home soil, hitting the back of the net in all three games at the Bridge. The Brazilian’s movement, hold-up play, and clinical finishing inside the box make him a constant threat, and he has already shown a knack for big moments against Tottenham—scoring in his last two encounters, including the only goal in the away derby win last term.

The lethal partnership formed alongside Pedro Neto, Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers means Joao Pedro, as the focal point, will receive plenty of service. At plus money, his anytime scorer price looks generous for a player averaging close to three shots per home game with a conversion rate of 50%.

EPL Best Bet: Chelsea vs Tottenham – Joao Pedro to score at +110.

Sunderland vs. Leeds

Sunday, 11:30 a.m. ET

After a stunning return to the Premier League last season, Sunderland are having a torrid time this term. Sitting rock bottom with four points and a -8 goal difference after five losses in seven, including all the last four.

It was widely predicted the Black Cats would not be so lucky this time around and struggle to contend with their unexpected European commitments with a relatively small squad. They were totally outplayed by Bournemouth in their 2-0 defeat last weekend, with the Cherries posting an expected goals total of 4.23 to the visitors’ 0.07 from 29 shots to three.

The cracks have started to appear with defender Nordi Mukiele blasting his teammates after that game. In his post-match interview, he said, “If I have to be honest with you, we are not good. Maybe because we became arrogant, maybe. This is what I think…”.

To make matters worse, Régis Le Bris’ men traveled to Poland in midweek for a tough Europa League clash away at Lech Poznań, adding travel fatigue and potential rotation to an already stretched squad.

Leeds, by contrast, occupy seventh with 10 points from two wins, four draws, and a single loss—that solitary defeat coming at Arsenal. Daniel Farke’s side has been hard to beat, losing only two of their last 16 league games.

The Yorkshire outfit have recruited well since coming up with the hosts; tall, physical, athletic profiles have meant they are tough to score against. Helped by the addition of excellent England goalkeeper James Trafford, the Whites have conceded just six goals this season. Only Brighton and Arsenal (5) can beat that.

At the other end, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is rejuvenated and regularly among the goals. Like the rest of the squad benefitting from a week of recovery and preparation in between games.

With Sunderland’s current trajectory and European commitments against Leeds’ organization, set-piece threat, and ability to grind results, make an away win the value play at +135. Expect a professional performance from the visitors that extends the hosts’ miserable run and lifts Leeds further into the conversation for who finishes in the European qualification places this term.

EPL Best Bet: Sunderland vs Leeds – Leeds to win at +135.
