Aston Villa -112 on the Moneyline? I couldn’t believe it when I saw it, but there it is for all to see, and I am all over it.

The Villains are a very good side and another team with so many goals in them. They drew a blank against that miserly Arsenal defense where the Gunners goalkeeper walked off with the Man of the Match award. But in the other six games they have played, Unai Emery has seen his side score 15 times and at least twice in each fixture, winning all of them.

One of those victories was against Young Boys in the Champions League. Yes, this is a Champions League outfit we are talking about, a side that deservedly finished fourth last season and are currently third in the table going into the weekend level on points with Liverpool ahead of them and just a point behind leaders Manchester City.

They are being priced up here as if they are a top seven or eight side. Earlier in the season, Liverpool went to Ipswich and kicked off as the -300 favorite, and there is clearly not that much between the two.

The only thing that could be a factor in this price is Villa’s game against Bayern Munich on Wednesday. I am not going to dismiss it as not being a distraction, as it is the biggest game at Villa Park in decades, but it shouldn’t impact the price as much as it appears here.

They face an Ipswich side that two years ago were readying themselves to play October league games against Cambridge and Morecambe. They are newly promoted, are yet to win, haven’t even looked likely to do so and are -112 to go straight back down to the Championship.

I am so impressed with Unai Emery, and he has been around the block in Europe a few times, he knows how to keep his sides hungry and focussed on their work in the league. Not only does he have a wonderful starting eleven but subs that can impact games from off the bench. We have already seen Jhon Duran, who has four Premier League goals from five substitute appearances totaling 131 minutes. Incredible!

Villa creates so many chances which after a steady start they have begun taking and they will get loads more against Ipswich who concede plenty. In short, the visitors have been totally disrespected in the market and I’m not passing it up.

EPL Best Bet: Ipswich Town vs Aston Villa – Aston Villa Moneyline at -112.
