Tennis best bets for Rolex Paris Masters & WTA Finals – Wednesday, November 1

There isn’t much time left in the 2023 tennis season, but this is a week full of high-level action. The men are in Paris for the Rolex Paris Masters, which is the final 1000-level event of the season. This is as big of a tournament as there is outside of the four Grand Slams, and the stakes are high with some of these players hoping to book a spot in the ATP Finals. Meanwhile, the women are already into the WTA Finals. The top eight players on the women’s side are already in Cancun to compete for the final big trophy of the year. With that in mind, I’m here to give you some daily tennis best bets. Keep reading for my picks for Wednesday, November 1.

Botic Van De Zandschulp vs. Tommy Paul

Paul honestly looks ready for this season to end. The American has been miserable over the last couple of months and he now faces a player that is playing some great tennis right now. Van De Zandschulp has won six of his last seven matches, and he is just looking dangerous in the indoor hardcourt portion of the season. Van De Zandschulp also beat Paul in Davis Cup action a few weeks ago. When you combine that result with the Dutchman’s recent form, I just like the value on him as an underdog here. I think his forehand will be the biggest weapon on the court.

Bet: Van De Zandschulp ML (+120)

Grigor Dimitrov vs. Daniil Medvedev

Dimitrov has historically played very well in this tournament, so I trust in him to bring his best stuff this match. The Bulgarian just forced Medvedev to a third set when the two played in Vienna last week, and these conditions suit Dimitrov a bit better. These courts play a little slower than they did last week. On top of that, Medvedev made a run to the final last week, so he could be a little drained here — both physically and emotionally. So, I like the idea of taking Dimitrov to at least win a set, but I also think he has a chance of winning this outright. He has been great in the second half of the season.

Bet: Dimitrov +1.5 Sets (-125) & Dimitrov ML (+200 – 0.5 units)

Felix Auger-Aliassime vs. Stefanos Tsitsipas

Auger-Aliassime is coming off a title run in Basel. The Canadian is now playing some great tennis, which is interesting considering he has been awful since the start of 2023. But this is the time when Auger-Aliassime started to peak last year, so he clearly likes playing on indoor hardcourts. And that isn’t all that surprising considering his ability to serve and pound forehands. Now, Auger-Aliassime gets to face Tsitsipas, who he beat in similar conditions in Rotterdam last year. And Tsitsipas hasn’t been playing very well in the second half of the year, so the Greek star is vulnerable right now. That said, I think taking a shot on Auger-Aliassime makes a lot of sense.

Bet: Auger-Aliassime ML (+110)

2023 Overall Record: 300-275 (+53.76 units)

Ons Jabeur ML (+120) vs. Marketa Vondrousova
