NOTE: Gill Alexander, host of A Numbers Game, posts his tennis plays to the VSiN picks page. He does a great job handicapping tennis. That page is also where I post all of my Challenger-level picks + plays for all of the tournaments I’m not writing up daily.
Elena Rybakina vs. Iga Swiatek
I already have Rybakina to win this tournament at +750, but I also believe she’s worth an individual play to win this match. Swiatek has won four in a row in this head-to-head series, so we have seen some one-way traffic in this rivalry recently. However, the sets these two have played have been very competitive. That said, there hasn’t been as much between these two as the records would suggest, and these conditions should suit Rybakina rather well.
Playing indoors, on a faster surface, should make Rybakina’s serve the biggest weapon in this match. Also, while Swiatek has gotten better about playing on quicker courts this year, she’s still a player that enjoys her time along the baseline. And if Rybakina is striking the ball cleanly here, Swiatek isn’t going to have that.
There’s also some sharp money that seems to support Rybakina in this match, according to our VSiN betting splits. At DraftKings Sportsbook, nearly 75% of the bets and ticket have come in on Swiatek, but Rybakina has moved from +130 to +120. That reverse line movement suggests there’s smart money on Rybakina.
Bet: Rybakina ML (+131)
Madison Keys vs. Amanda Anisimova
Keys is one of the few players in this field that hasn’t been playing well. In fact, the 30-year-old really hasn’t been playing at all. After losing to Renata Zarazua in the Round of 128 at the 2025 US Open, Keys didn’t hit the court until she arrived in Saudi Arabia. The American’s rust showed, losing 6-1, 6-2 in a horrific showing against Swiatek. Now, Keys has to try and figure things out against Anisimova, who is fresh off a runner-up finish at the US Open and then a title run in Beijing. Anisimova has looked the part of an elite player for months now, and she should be able to find a way to cover against Keys.
As long as Anisimova’s serve doesn’t abandon her, she should have the edge from the baseline. I know Anisimova didn’t look great against Rybakina, but I’m not reading too much into that. Rybakina can be an overwhelming opponent in this type of event.
Bet: Anisimova -3.5 Games (-116)
Added Plays
I usually have A LOT MORE on the Pro Picks page. Those plays count towards my record and have been a big part of my success this season. Make sure you check them out. I’ll probably add a few more over there, so refresh that page throughout the day if you’re looking for action.
