Ninety percent of the Super Bowl wagering has yet to happen, so let’s get to it . . .
We asked VSiN’s hosts to come up with their Best Bets for the Super Bowl and we’re collecting them all here.
With an emphasis on creativity and/or bravery, here are my favorites:
Matt Brown: Dallas Goedert Super Bowl MVP (125/1)
Let’s get wacky and try to cash a miracle ticket.
Matt definitely uses his vivid imagination to describe how this could happen.
Sean Green: Jahan Dotson +8500 First TD
This is a sky high price for a first TD for a guy who is going to be on the field a ton and running routes.
Sean is an Eagles fan, so we know he has seen every play this season.
Will Hill: Overtime (Yes) +1000
With a game lined around 1, and two evenly-matched teams, getting 10-1 on overtime is a fun bet that could get home at long odds.
As Will points out, the last Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl was 35-35 until the final seconds and last year’s game did go OT.
A Passing Fancy
Today’s reader prop submission is from Mark Liposcak of Cedar Rapids, Iowa:
Total Players To Attempt Pass: Over 2.5 (+180)
There are a few ways this could cash:
>Trick play with possibly Travis Kelce throwing to Patrick Mahomes.
>Xavier Worthy on a reverse from the backfield.
>Saquon Barkley with the emphasis on stopping his running game throwing 1 to Jalen Hurts.
>Perhaps a fake punt/field goal
>An injury to either starting QB
This prop has cashed in 4 of the last 11 Super Bowls
For his contribution, Mark will get a Omaha Steaks Gourmet Certificate valued at over $275.
