Broncos coach Sean Payton has gone all-in on refurbished QB Jarrett Stidham, boldly stating, “He’s gonna rip it.”
Those words that will be revisited, for better or worse, after Sunday’s AFC Championship.

It’s still early in the week, but only 27 percent of the handle and 24 percent of the bets are on the Broncos +5.5 at DraftKings. At Circa, where the line is Denver +4.5, 24 percent of the bets are accounting for 54 percent of the handle.

In a vacuum, I personally wouldn’t dock Denver too much for going from Nix to Stidham. I know he’s a competent player, and I really do trust Payton to put together a decent game plan.

There was some good injury news for the Broncos on Wednesday as J,K. Dobbins returned to practice for the first time since he injured his foot in November. No word on whether Dobbins will be ready to play Sunday, but he certainly could help, having rushed for 772 yards in 10 games.
