Like many of you, I am following “The Angle” picks produced by Luke DiVasta.

Luke’s betting system went 1-1 on Monday and is 40-14 since he started tracking it in late January.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, start here.

What I didn’t anticipate when The Angle caught fire was the commitment it would require — namely, scrolling deep into the ESPN+ wilderness to watch basketball that occasionally resembles a live-fire drill.

Monday’s adventure featured Cleveland State (+1.5) against IU-Indianapolis. Watching the Vikings attempt to inbound the ball against full-court pressure was not for the faint of heart. But they survived, advanced in the Horizon League Tournament — and that’s all the The Angle needed.

The good news: Tonight’s Angle plays come with more recognizable logos.

  • Alabama +1.5 at Georgia (6:30 ET, ESPN)
  • Nebraska +1.5 at UCLA (8 ET, FS1)

Luke, an Alabama grad, was particularly pleased with that first one.

When Luke has official Angle picks, you can always find them here.

Meanwhile, conference tournament season expands.

The Patriot League and Sun Belt tip today, with five more conferences joining tomorrow. Adam Burke has full previews for every tournament in our Conference Tournament Hub — including brackets, Steve Makinen’s power ratings and key trends.

Greg “Hoops” Peterson has 15 games on his Best Bets card.

Later this morning on our college basketball page: Adam and Tyler Shoemaker will have their top plays and Josh Appelbaum will interpret the money movement.

Tune in for MLB Futures picks . . . on the clock

There are fantasy drafts.

There are futures bets.

And then there is what we’re about to do today.

At 1 p.m. ET, we’re hosting a live MLB Futures Draft, featuring 10 handicappers, hosts, analysts, a former GM and a former MLB All-Star — all drafting from 11 betting categories ranging from Division winners to Cy Young to Season Win Totals.

Snake draft. One minute per pick. DraftKings odds only. No alternate lines.

Each wager is graded at $100, and the winner at season’s end is determined by total profit.

In other words, this isn’t about being right. It’s about being right at the right number.

The first hour airs live on VSiN. Both hours stream on VSiN’s YouTube page.

Expect angle-shooting, lots of chops-busting — and some MLB futures wagers you may want to consider.
