🎯 A stunner
In case you were wondering, Duke would have been a 3.5-point favorite vs. Illinois.

That’s not hypothetical — FanDuel posted the line with Duke up 17 on UConn in the second half of Sunday’s East Regional.

Then . . . everything flipped.

👉 ICYMI: Watch the collapse

Now it’s Illinois (-1.5) vs. UConn in Saturday’s opener in Indianapolis.

🏀 Final Four set
Two No. 1 seeds headline the nightcap.

👉 Michigan (-1.5) vs. Arizona

⚾ Early MLB notes: What stood out?
I asked VSiN.com managing editor Adam Burke for his biggest takeaways from opening weekend. Here’s what he’s seeing:

👉 Running game up: Base stealers are succeeding at an ~85% clip (77.7% last season). Worth watching if that holds.

👉 Rookies flashing: This year’s rookie class has been ridiculous out of the gate.

👉 Challenge edge: Catchers are winning challenges at a much higher rate than pitchers and hitters.

👉 Yankees dominance: New York allowed just one run in its series vs. San Francisco.

👉 A’s swing-and-miss: Oakland struck out in 45.5% of plate appearances against Toronto.

🏀 Zach Cohen’s NBA Report
Sunday Recap
OKC won — and covered — in a potential NBA Finals preview against New York. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hit the 30-point mark. Jalen Williams, who is being eased back into action, added 22.

Boston dealt Charlotte a second loss in a row, winning by 15 at the Spectrum Center. We also saw a massive upset, with Indiana winning 135-118 as a +330 underdog against Miami.

Monday Lookahead
There’s a tripleheader on Peacock/NBC. The Bulls-Spurs matchup leaves a lot to be desired, but I’m excited to watch 76ers-Heat and Pistons-Thunder.

Philadelphia is back at full strength and coming off a road win over Charlotte.

Without star Cade Cunningham, the Pistons have won two in a row and will face OKC on the second leg.
