Don’t sleep on Steve’s various trends in the guide. I used them to do my tournament picks last and finished 24-16 ATS in the VSiN internal contest. (Alas, my contest strategy wasn’t ideal.)

🦈 It’s Sharp Week

We’re in full Sharp Week mode here at VSiN.

We had special programming for Selection Sunday — Tim Murray, Jonathan Von Tobel, Matt Youmans and Greg Peterson broke down the bracket and offered their early picks in the hours after the announcement.

Bonus programming: Cashing Out host Dustin Swedelson promised to shave his head if Purdue makes the Final Four.

Zach Cohen’s NBA Report

Sunday Dogs

Dallas beat Cleveland as a 15-point underdog, reaching +850 on the moneyline before that game tipped. We also saw Toronto earn a 119-108 victory over Detroit as a 3-point home underdog.

On top of that, Philadelphia was an 8.5-point home underdog against Portland and won by six without Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Paul George. Let’s see how the favorites respond on Monday, as moneyline parlays are all the rage right now.

Monday Blockbusters

Magic-Hawks should be a fun little matchup in Atlanta, Suns-Celtics could be a battle, and Lakers-Rockets has the potential to be awesome. Los Angeles is one of the hottest teams in the league right now, but Houston presents a real challenge — especially with this being the Lakers’ first road game in weeks.

I’ll also be keeping an eye on Spurs-Clippers. On paper, this looks like it can be the best game of the night, but Kawhi Leonard is listed as doubtful with an ankle injury. If he can’t go against his former team, that takes all the juice out of this matchup.

Zach posts his Best Bets every morning on our NBA page.

He also does a fresh episode of the Hardwood Handicappers podcast Monday-Friday.
