Division game. Double-digit dog. Low Total.
We all know what Dave “Dog or Pass” Tuley is going to do with tonight’s Jets-Patriots matchup (8:15 p.m. ET, Amazon Prime). Still, here’s his take in case you’re not familiar with his work.
The Jets have strung together two wins after dropping their first seven, while the Patriots have reeled off seven straight. New England opened -10.5 at Circa Sports and has climbed to -13. The total has ticked down from 45 to 43.
VSiN’s Zach Cohen notes that the Jets have exceeded market expections more often than not.
The Jets have also been pretty good to bettors this season. For as bad as New York has been, the team is 5-4 ATS on the year. The Jets are also 5-3 ATS as underdogs, and they’re 2-1 ATS as road underdogs.

And from Steve Makinen’s NFL Week 11 Analytics Report, two trends to keep in mind for Thursday Night Football:
- TNF home teams in Week 9 or later are 45-28 SU and 42-28-3 ATS (60%).
- TNF home favorites of 7+ points are on a 33-3 SU and 21-13-2 ATS (61.8%) run.

Steve will file his Best Bets column mid-afternoon.

Time to shine
A Sun Belt matchup is the only game on the card tonight:
Troy (+11) vs. Old Dominion (7:30 ET, ESPN)
Adam Burke weighs in on this one:
Despite the 4-1 record in league play, Troy has been outgained on a per-play basis. Many are probably wondering how teams with an identical record and one that has a better conference record can be a double-digit dog, but that’s how.
From Steve Makinen’s Analytics Report: Troy is No. 3 on his list of underpriced underdogs based on his power ratings. He has Troy at +3.7.
