🏀 Final Four countdown
I’m writing this on the plane back to Las Vegas after a quick business trip to Chicago.

Well, it wasn’t all business. I had dinner with my daughter and met her boyfriend for the first time.

I may have scared him a bit with my favorite “Life in Las Vegas” stories.

Was that wrong?

As for the Final Four, DraftKings Sportsbook moved its line Tuesday night from Illinois -2.5 to -1.5, based on strong support behind UConn. Circa and most books in Las Vegas are at Illini -2.

🏀 Zach Cohen’s NBA Report
Wednesday’s Big Ones
There’s a massive NBA slate Wednesday, but a lot of it is noise. Luckily, a few games actually matter.

The headliner is Hawks-Magic in a big Southeast Division showdown — and yeah, it’s especially meaningful if you’re riding with me on that Atlanta future. The Hawks are up 2.5 games, and a road win would really stick the knife in Orlando.

Next up: Celtics-Heat in the first game of ESPN’s doubleheader. Miami has been solid all year but still hasn’t convinced anyone it’s a real East contender. A win over Boston would go a long way in changing that.

The nightcap features Spurs-Warriors, but Golden State is still without Stephen Curry — though he did return to scrimmaging Tuesday. Without him, the Warriors will need to play a near-perfect game to beat San Antonio.

⛳ Valero Texas Open preview
Final tune-up before Augusta — and one last shot at a Masters invite.

Wes Reynolds breaks down this week’s Valero Texas Open, where a mix of contenders and long shots are chasing form — and in some cases, a win-and-you’re-in ticket to the Masters.

👉 Co-favorites include Ludvig Åberg and Tommy Fleetwood, with a deep board behind them
👉 Course fit matters at TPC San Antonio — tight fairways, firm greens and wind often decide it
👉 Expect volatility: recent winners have ranged from -9 to -20 depending on conditions

🎯 Betting focus: targeting players trending with approach + putting, plus long shots who can handle tough scoring setups.
