Let’s face it. When someone says they have all four No. 1s in the Final Four of their NCAA bracket, you think differently about them.
(I’m thinking of you, Greg “Hoops” Peterson and Brent Musburger, to name a few.)
But maybe they were right this time.
Both No. 1s advanced on Saturday to the Final Four.
Dave Tuley’s ATS Report: Florida rallied to beat Texas Tech 84-79 with an 18-4 late run, but the Gators did not cover after closing as 7-point favorites. (Game went Over total of 159 points.) In the second game, Duke beat Alabama 85-65, covering as a 7-point favorite. It stayed way Under 175 points.
Two more No. 1s are in action today, so let’s see what our guys have to say about these matchups.

Makinen’s NASCAR predictions
Steve Makinen has posted his final simulation for today’s NASCAR stop at Martinsville:
NASCAR makes its first of two stops at Martinsville, where the handicap-ability grade is just C+, a lot lower than the race we saw last week at Homestead. Christopher Bell comes out on top of the final simulation after earning the pole in qualifying. His track rating here is only #10 among drivers, though, so I wouldn’t characterize him as a “favorite.” The top guys in my mind follow him on the simulation: William Byron, Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin. One of the underdogs to consider would be Bubba Wallace, who was fastest in practice. Chase Briscoe could also be one to watch, as he has run well here himself and is driving the car formerly of Martin Turex:
Top 5: Elliott, Hamlin, Larson, Wallace, Byron
Top Underdogs to consider: Wallace, Preece, Briscoe, A Dillon
Favorites to struggle: Busch, Keselowski, Beuscher
