I know time for handicapping is precious on Thanksgiving week, so let’s get ahead on these Thursday’s NFL games.

Packers at Lions, 1 ET (Fox): With no Tucker Kraft (torn ACL), it’s just not exactly clear that Jordan Love should be treated like a top quarterback. Over this recent four-week stretch, Love has thrown for only two touchdowns — and both of those came in a win over the Giants. Let’s see what he can do against a Lions team that is ninth in the NFL in EPA per play allowed (-0.019). And let’s see if he can thrive against a Detroit team that could take the Green Bay running game out of this.
Chiefs at Cowboys, 4:30 ET (CBS): Dallas is just 29th in the NFL in EPA per play allowed (0.126) this season, but some trade deadline deals have really changed things. The Cowboys went out and got Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson at the deadline, and they have an EPA per play allowed of -0.094 in the two weeks they’ve had those two in the lineup. That’s a top-10 mark in the NFL in that span.
Bengals at Ravens, 8:20 ET (NBC): Cincinnati is simply going to need Joe Burrow to be Superman, as this offense will need to be ready to win some high-scoring games. Plus, Burrow isn’t going to have much time to throw, so he’s going to have to be sharp immediately. If he’s slow to process things and struggles to read the defense in his first game back, there’s a good chance Baltimore pounces and never looks back.
