Among the QB injury updates heading into NFL Week 13, Baker Mayfield’s left shoulder is the most impactful given the playoff implications for the reeling Bucs.
An MRI revealed a low-grade AC joint sprain, but the Bucs remain optimistic he’ll be able to play Sunday vs. the Cardinals. Books nudged the line from Tampa Bay -2.5 to -3 on the news. For context, the pre-injury lookahead was Bucs -6.5.
A new development surfaced Monday in Minnesota: the Vikings placed J.J. McCarthy in concussion protocol. They haven’t ruled him out for Sunday vs. the Seahawks, but the potential downgrade to undrafted rookie Max Brosmer explains the move from Seattle -8.5 to -10.5.
Other updates:
➡️ Bengals: Cincinnati confirmed Joe Burrow (toe) will play Thursday at Baltimore (-7).
➡️ Steelers: Aaron Rodgers (broken left wrist) is expected to return vs. the visiting Bills (-3.5).
➡️ Commanders: Jayden Daniels (dislocated left elbow) is considered a long shot to go against the visiting Broncos (-6.5).
➡️ Browns: Dillon Gabriel cleared concussion protocol, but Cleveland will stick with Shedeur Sanders as the starter vs. the 49ers (-6).
MNF recap: The 49ers didn’t have a problem covering -7 or -7.5, holding off the Panthers 20-9. (This footage explains why there was a scuffle after the game.)
Week 12 favorites led 10-4 SU, but dogs went 9-5 ATS. Unders led 10-4.

Contest Corner
>Circa Survivor: The 298 entries on the 49ers survived and advanced, so an even 900 head into the all-important Thanksgiving week. Reminder: Contestants need to pick a winner from the four Thursday-Friday games and then another winner for the Sunday-Monday menu.
>Circa Friday Football Invitational: With a win on the 49ers -7, Connecticut pro bettor Jason Jarvis extended his lead to 3.5 points over Fox Sports betting analyst Chris Fallica. >>Standings.
The football streak ends
VSiN.com managing editor Adam Burke pays homage to the end of mid-week MAC games:
Well, friends. Tuesday is a bittersweet day in the football world. Our final two MACtion games of the season feature Western Michigan vs. Eastern Michigan and Bowling Green vs. UMass. Those two games also represent the end of 49 straight days with a football game, as Wednesday will be the first day without something on the gridiron since October 7. That’s obviously the bitter part.
