The favorite in Saturday’s Ohio State-Texas game flipped — at least at Circa Sports on Thursday afternoon.

After taking a $550,000 bet on Texas +1, Circa moved the line to Longhorns -1 in an effort to get some buyback on Ohio State. It worked as Circa settled at pick’em by the end of the night.

Circa owner Derek Stevens explained what happened on VSiN PrimeTime with Matt Youmans and Tim Murray.

Adam Burke handicaps tonight’s Auburn-Baylor game (8 p.m. ET, FOX).

Steve Makinen has Best Bets for four games tonight, including Georgia Tech at Colorado (8 p.m. ET, ESPN).

Dave Tuley has plays for two games tonight, including UNLV at Sam Houston (9:30 p.m. ET, CBS Sports Network).

As they will all season, Tim and Matt trade Best Bets on the VSiN College Football Betting Podcast.

Sent Packing

I’m sure Dave Ross, who self identifies as a Cowboys fan, will have plenty to say about the trade of Micah Parsons to the Packers on today’s VSiN By The Books (7-10 a.m. ET) with Jensen Lewis.

The betting market has already spoken: Green Bay is the new favorite to win the NFC North at +170 (from a pre-trade +260). The Cowboys moved to an ever bigger underdog (from +7 to +7.5 at some books) in the NFL season opener on Thursday vs. the Eagles.

>Adam Burke has more on the blockbuster deal.

The updated VSiN NFL Betting Guide (updated except for a certain Cowboys trade) is out and ready for download here for VSiN Pro subscribers. The 42-page PDF includes new Best Bets now that training camps have concluded. Not a VSiN Pro subscriber? Find a package that works for you.
