The Wimbledon draw was released on Friday, so Zach Cohen and Gill Alexander — VSiN’s tennis betting aficionados — are ready with their pre-tournament picks.
Zach has 10 bets across the men’s and women’s brackets, including this one:
Madison Keys to win Quarter 1 (+500) & Madison Keys to win Wimbledon (20-1): I thought Keys was going to win her first major at last year’s Wimbledon. I had her to win her quarter and win the tournament, but she ended up getting injured in a close match against eventual runner-up Jasmine Paolini. That was a match that really felt like it was going Keys’ way, but it wasn’t meant to be. Well, Keys went out and won her maiden Grand Slam at the 2025 Australian Open, and some service changes — and equipment changes — helped her do that. Keys is playing the best tennis of her life in 2025, as her 76.9% winning percentage is a career-high. And her playing style has always made her a threat on grass, where she is 50-18 in her career.
Gill did his annual Wimbledon Beating The Book megapod with Zach and NBC Sports Bet analyst Drew Dinsick.

Saturday night racin’
Steve Makinen has posted his final simulation for tonight’s NASCAR race in Atlanta and sent along this analysis:
This is the first round of the new five-week in-season 32-driver tournament. Not unexpectedly, Fords dominated the qualifying session on Friday night and they will start in the first eight positions. All that did was boost the projections for the Penske Racing and RFK Racing teams.
Ryan Blaney holds on to the top spot in the final projections, ahead of teammate Joey Logano. Kyle Larson is 3rd, and another Penske driver, Austin Cindric checks in 4th. William Byron rounds out the top 5, making for the same top 5 that appeared in the initial simulation on Tuesday, only shuffled a bit. Those five are the clear front runners, but look for some other underdogs to be in the hunt, including Josh Berry, Brad Keselowski, and Ryan Preece.
Here are my predictions for the Quaker State 400:
Top 5: Logano, Blaney, Byron, Berry, Beuscher
Top underdogs: Berry, Keselowski, Beuscher, Preece, Gibbs, Smith
Favorites to struggle: Reddick, Chastain, Busch, Bell
Regarding the first round of the tournament, here are the seed matchups and their projection on the final simulation. You can bet each of these matchups. Should add some fun flavor to the race betting:
#1 Hamlin – 13th in the simulation vs. #32 T. Dillon – 29th
#16 Busch – 21st vs. #17 Keselowski – 9th
#8 Bowman – 11th vs. #25 Logano – 2nd
#9 Wallace – 16th vs. #24 Suarez – 25th
#12 Nemechek – 26th vs. #21 Berry – 6th
#5 Elliott – 8th vs. #28 A. Dillon – 27th
#13 Chastain – 20th vs. #20 Jones – 28th
#4 Bell – 15th vs. #29 Stenhouse – 34th
#2 Briscoe – 7th vs. #31 Gragson – 32nd
#15 Preece – 12th vs. #18 Byron – 5th
#7 Blaney – 1st vs. #26 Hocevar – 19th
#10 Larson – 3rd vs. #23 Reddick – 14th
#11 McDowell – 31st vs. #22 Allmendinger – 23rd
#6 Gibbs – 17th vs. #27 Haley – 30h
#14 Smith – 18th vs. #19 Cindric- 4th
#3 Beuscher – 10th vs. #30 Gilliland- 22nd
