Finally, after a week of stability, there was a little live movement on the Super Bowl.

Circa Sports, for one, moved the line to Chiefs -1 from -1.5 at around 10:30 a.m. on Monday. I asked VSiN/Circa dual threat Mike Palm what drove the move:

Just as it did two years ago, the Eagles money is starting to show up in Week 2.

Caesars and the Westgate also were at -1 as of the end of the day while others – including DraftKings Sportsbook – remained at -1.5.

In the Super Bowl two years ago, the Eagles flipped to favorites (-2.5) by kickoff.

Mike, what say you?

I still don’t think that will happen.

New on VSiN.com: The best prop bets from VSiN’s hosts and writers are starting to pour in. You can find them here. More to come.

Today’s prop submission from a VSiN Daily reader comes from Harry Klein, a nurse practitioner from Boston:

First 1st down of the game: Marquise Brown +1100 on DK.

Since coming back from injury, it looks like the Chiefs try to get him going during their scripted game plan on their first drive.

Chiefs vs Texans: first third down of the game they tried throwing him a pass that was incomplete, but if caught would have had a chance to get the first down.

Chiefs vs Bills: on their first drive, he got the first 1st down on an 11 yard pass on first down.

Seems Andy Reid likes to work him in on the first drive of the game. Obviously, you have to have Philadelphia elect to defer if they win the coin toss since KC always defers.

But 11/1 ain’t bad!

There’s still time to send me your prop bet. If I pick it, you will get a Omaha Steaks Gourmet Certificate valued at over $275.

>>From my previous life as a newspaper guy, I always liked stories that made me say to myself, “I don’t need to read any more stories on this topic.” I would say that about this ESPN piece on how the Lakers-Mavs trade came about. It explains why it happened and why it was such a surprise.

NHL: Look for Jonathan Davis‘ picks later today.

>>Since there was only one game Monday, JD must have used his free time coming up with this nugget: In games when the favorite is (-400 or higher), the underdog has scored a 1st period goal in 13 of the 17 games, so playing the dog at Over ½ goal in the first period is a profitable wager. >>More insights from Jonathan.
