WNBA Best Bets:
I spoke too soon about the 5-0 run we were on betting the WNBA, as some late-game mishaps from the Atlanta Dream doomed both the side and total bets we had yesterday, sending us to an 0-2 day. However, as always, I am back for more as we bide our time until Week 1 of CFB kicks off later this week. Tuesday features just one WNBA game, but it might be a doozy based on the line and the T Shoe Index projections. I’ll provide projections on that game and give a power ratings update and a power rating trend update – which teams are surging and which are heading the wrong way as the season winds down.

Here’s today’s WNBA best bet:
Dallas Wings vs. Las Vegas Aces
Poor Dallas. Injuries derailed their season before it began, with forwards Satou Sabally and Natasha Howard missing extended time and Arike Ogunbowale only able to shoot them out of so many games. Their season is all but over, but they’re still a fun team to watch and/or bet on because you never know when a track meet might break out. The Aces, on the other hand, have high expectations as back-to-back champs but have certainly looked very beatable this season. Many (including myself) wonder if they have enough in the tank to complete the three-peat. For tonight, though, the Aces are 9-point favorites with an Over/Under of 179 after being bet up from 176.5. TSI projects Aces -6.5 with a total of – wait for it – 185 (!!) I don’t have a strong opinion on the side in this game, as both teams have been wildly inconsistent, but I do like the Over.
