Indiana Fever vs Seattle Storm
After opening as a 1-point home favorite, the Fever have seen this spread sprint the other way, as Seattle now sits as a 5-point favorite on the road, with an Over/Under of 168. TSI agrees with the move with a projection of -6 with a total of 163. While Indiana’s defense is last in the league, per TSI defensive ratings, neither offense is in the top half of the league so I like the under pretty comfortably at this number. Both TSI (which is a blend of preseason projections and in-season data at this point) and the in-season data only both align on the Under.
Bet: Under 168 (Play to 167)
Chicago Sky vs Los Angeles Sparks
Chicago is a 4.5-point home favorite in this exciting matchup of rookie bigs Angel Reese and Cameron Brink, with an Over/Under of 163. Both of these teams are near the bottom of my power ratings, with neither team being in the top 5 on either side of the ball. TSI projects Chicago -2.5 with a total of 159, and the in-season data supports both LA plus the points and the Under. This is another game I’d lean to the Under, though I don’t have an official play.
