VSiN is headed to Omaha for the College World Series.

Now we just need to figure out who else is going.

You may have heard the promos: VSiN is going to do shows live from Rocco’s, across the street from Charles Schwab Field, where eight teams will converge to decide the NCAA baseball title.

Rocco’s is the home of the “Jell-O Shot Challenge,” in which fans from the eight CWS teams compete by drinking color-coordinated shots. Tennessee won last year by downing 38,340 shots.

We will be broadcasting Money Moves with Stormy Buonantony and Jonathan Von Tobel (11 a.m.-1 p.m. Omaha time) and Follow The Money with Mitch Moss and Pauly Howard (3-6 p.m.) on Thursday, June 12 and Friday, June 13. The FTM guys will do a special show on Saturday, June 14 from 9 a.m.-noon. Jensen LewisVSiN By The Books host and former Vanderbilt pitcher, will join the party to add his insider insights.

The trip is sponsored by Circa Sports, so we’ll also have familiar faces such as Derek StevensMike Palm and Chris (aka “Big Balls” aka “Wilbo”) Wilberding around for the festivities.

As for who else will be there, the 64-team field was named Monday. The tournament will start Friday with 16 double-elimination regionals, followed by best-of-three super regionals to decide the eight finalists.

Vanderbilt (+950 at Circa) is the No. 1 seed, leading a record 13 SEC teams in the field.

VSiN contributor Aaron Moore breaks down the tournament now that the field is set and scouts the top players to watch with an eye toward their MLB futures.

Aaron likes LSU (+450) and, based on this ESPN story, we definitely should be rooting for the Tigers to make it to Omaha.

But he also offers a few long shots:

Instead of calling them pizza money bets, here are some Jell-O Shots money bets named in honor of Rocco’s, the epicenter of the Omaha party: Florida State (+3400 at Circa) and Oregon State (+3000). Those are number plays with plenty of meat on the odds’ bone.

We’re also partnering with VSiN regular Matt Grissom of College Baseball Insiders to publish preview guides before the regionals, super-regionals and CWS. Look for the first one on Wednesday.

Thunder struck

The Thunder took a 3-1 lead in the West by defeating the Timberwolves 128-126 on Monday night. OKC didn’t cover the closing -3.

Tonight, the Pacers (-2.5) will try to take a 3-1 lead vs. the Knicks (8 ET, TNT).

VSiN.com senior editor Zach Cohen has a preview and prediction:
