Ohio State vs. Auburn

1:00 PM Eastern

This game, held at State Farm Arena, features a larger venue that can disrupt shooters’ sightlines. Ohio State ranks 28th nationally in points allowed per possession, while Auburn entered Friday ranked 225th in possessions per game.

Wichita State vs. DePaul

While DePaul’s 39.1% 3-point shooting (23rd nationally) has drawn attention, their rebounding has also improved significantly, ranking 36th in rebound percentage. Wichita State lags behind, ranking 193rd in this metric.

UCLA vs. Arizona

Though played on neutral ground in Arizona, UCLA has excelled at slowing opponents, leading the country in forced turnovers per possession and points allowed per possession. Arizona struggles in efficiency, ranking 278th in opponent 3-point shooting percentage and 234th in offensive 3-point percentage.

Pick: UCLA +3.5 (Greg’s Handicap: UCLA -2)

Seton Hall vs. Rutgers

Seton Hall’s offense has struggled, ranking 320th nationally in points scored per possession, but their defense has been elite, ranking 12th in points allowed per possession away from home. Rutgers, on the other hand, has seen their defensive ranking drop to 151st in points allowed per possession.

Pick: Seton Hall +13 (Greg’s Handicap: Seton Hall +10.5)

Florida International vs. Stetson

Stetson’s defense ranks 342nd nationally in points allowed per possession and has yet to hold an opponent to under 71 points this season. Florida International plays at a fast pace (61st in possessions per game) and may struggle to contain a Stetson team shooting 35% from beyond the arc.

Missouri State vs. Washington State

Missouri State has been vulnerable on the perimeter, allowing opponents to shoot 38.3% from beyond the arc in road games. Washington State, ranking 30th in possessions per game, looks to exploit this weakness by increasing tempo.

St. Bonaventure vs. Providence

Since Bryce Hopkins returned, Providence has improved but remains inconsistent offensively, scoring 70 points or fewer in two of their last three games. St. Bonaventure’s defense is among the best nationally, ranking 16th in points allowed per possession and 14th in fewest fouls per defensive play.

Utah Valley vs. Jacksonville State

Utah Valley has struggled with ball control, ranking 239th in turnovers per possession and 333rd in 3-point shooting percentage on the road. Jacksonville State excels on the glass, ranking 30th in rebound percentage, and limits opponents to a 31st-ranked 2-point shooting percentage.

Pick: Jacksonville State -2 (Greg’s Handicap: Jacksonville State -6)

Louisville vs. Kentucky

Kentucky’s guard rotation is depleted, with injuries to Kerr Kriisa and Lamont Butler. In their first game without them against Colgate, they posted a season-low 78 points. Louisville’s offense, composed mostly of transfers, ranks 128th in points per possession and 230th in turnovers per possession.

Pick: Under 159 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 154.5)

San Diego vs. Fresno State

7:00 PM Eastern

Both offenses have struggled mightily, with Fresno State ranking 335th in points per possession and shooting just 27.1% from 3-point range (342nd nationally). San Diego fares even worse, ranking 342nd in points per possession and 346th in 3-point shooting (26.6%). Both defenses rank in the top 160 in points allowed per possession.

Pick: Under 152.5 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 147.5)

UW Green Bay vs. UC Santa Barbara

7:00 PM Eastern

UW Green Bay has one of the nation’s worst defenses, ranking 344th in points allowed per possession. The team has also been dealing with internal issues, including the benching of Anthony Roy, the nation’s scoring leader, in a loss to Cleveland State last weekend.

Pick: UC Santa Barbara -12.5 (Greg’s Handicap: UC Santa Barbara -18.5)
