Texas Tech vs. Florida
Texas Tech is still dealing with the injury to Chance McMillian, a 43.4% three-point shooter who averages 14.2 points per game. After needing to come back from a 13-point deficit with under five minutes left in the second half while being limited to a seven-man rotation, the team may need to slow the pace. They currently rank 228th in possessions per game. Florida, meanwhile, ranks 21st in points per possession allowed, fifth in opponent three-point shooting percentage, and 15th in opponent two-point shooting percentage.
Pick: Under 157 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 154)

Alabama vs. Duke
While Alabama leads the country in total possessions per game, Duke entered the Sweet 16 ranked 280th in possessions per game and third in the nation in points per possession allowed. Alabama’s 25 made three-pointers on Thursday set a tournament record, with Mark Sears going 10-of-15 from deep after hitting just 5-of-35 three-point attempts in his previous six games combined. However, Duke ranks 36th in opponent three-point shooting percentage (31%), while Alabama is even better at 13th, allowing opponents to shoot just 30.1% from beyond the arc. Given both teams’ strong perimeter defense, their offensive explosion from Thursday is unlikely to repeat.
Pick: Alabama +7.5 and Under 174 (Greg’s Handicapped Line: Alabama +5.5, Total: 169.5)
